Our artists include Arthur Sugarbear Aiken (lead singer of the Legendary Blue Notes), Ms. Charlene Holloway, the late Ms. Valarie Ford, Tena Riley, The Legendary Bluenotes, and The VeryTerry Gospel Team.

My Story
In 1975 Mr. Thom Bell signed Terry to an exclusive songwriting deal with Philly International Records. There Terry honed his writing and producing skills, but it was the right place, but the wrong time. He then moved on to WMOT Records in 1980 and there he began to grow into a powerful songwriter and a pretty good producer. At WMOT, Terry fell in love with Margurite Pinder (later known as Brandi Wells) and together they wrote some very successful songs like "What Goes Around Comes Around". Terry later became a member of Fat Larry's Band and penned several hit songs including "Act Like You Know", which was covered by several artists including Grand Theft Auto, Heavy D and Jaheem. It was at WMOT where Terry and Brandi penned the unforgettable song "Closer Than Close" for Jean Carne. Terry and his then writing partner Bryan Williams wrote and produced for Jean Carne, Rose Royce, Teddy Pendergrass and others. Terry went on to sign with Ted-On Music where he wrote and produced seven songs on Teddy Pendergrass' "Truly Blessed" LP including the #1 hit song "It Should've Been You". Terry was also partners with his childhood friend John Whitehead (of McFadden and Whitehead) in their own record company called Shaprice Records. Forever grateful, Terry is still writing and producing R&B, Pop, Hip Hop and Gospel for VeryTerry Music.
Our Story
Arthur Sugar Bear Aiken and I met in the sixties, when I still had hair. He was sitting on his step singing and I walked up and asked him why wasn't he at rehearsal; of course he had no idea what I was talking about, but he became the lead singer for my group called The Novacks... (SugarBear went on to become the lead singer for The Fabulous Blue Notes. (taking the place of Teddy Pendergrass). The Novacks were managed by a Muslim brother named Samuel Wilson, who also managed a local drill team called The Challengers. From The Challengers came a young lady named Valarie Lipford, who became the lead singer of another local group called Philly Cream. I met Charlene Holloway during a session I was producing later in life, and she happened to be one of the background girls. Charlene is better known as backup for Regina Belle, Patti LaBelle, Phyllis Hyman, Lou Rawls, Keith Washington, and many more! Only God knows how we all would wind up working together after 50+ years. Today, we are a family of traditional R&B entertainers that have a message for the world, and that is, "let's get back to real music"!
